GRANT MANAGEMENT

The Oil Search Foundation has the capacity to manage external grants at the national level in Papua New Guinea. While Oil Search is the largest donor to Oil Search Foundation, we believe that by diversifying our funding base, we can better engage, complement and optimize development partner opportunities for more sustainable and joined-up solutions. Over the past few years, we have invested heavily to develop our capacity to manage grants from external donors and financing institutions, such as the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, the Asian Development Bank and the Australian and US Governments.

With a robust Grant Management Unit in place, we can deliver a coordinated approach to grant acquisition, management, and performance. We have a confident grant management team that is proficient, respected, and capable of managing large country level grants. This incorporates the provision of capacity development, monitoring, and support to sub-recipient and implementing partners, including those working to a “zero cash” policy. Working on a zero-cash basis, the Grant Management Unit assists partners to meet their procurement, training and service delivery objectives while managing all financial transactions on their behalf through the Oil Search Foundation financial systems. This ensures competitive and transparent processes demanded by donor partners is achieved in a transparent, accountable, productive and timely fashion.

We manage and deliver grants for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria and the Australian Government.
