OSF senior leadership team embraces inclusion of three new nationals

Oil Search Foundation (OSF) is proud to announce and welcome three new dynamic nationals to its Senior Leadership Team in 2018.

Joining the Foundation are Charles Kaprangi who will lead the Public Relations team, Serena Sasingian as Head of Expansion Programs and Eileen Tugum as Head of Signature Programs.

Stephanie Copus-CampbelI, OSF Executive Director, said that the Foundation was excited and fortunate to have exceptional and talented Papua New Guineans join its leadership team.

She said she looked forward to their significant contribution to enhancing current programs and fostering the growth of OSF as one of Papua New Guinea’s leading development partners.

Stephanie Copus-Campbell further emphasized that the Foundation was committed to developing transformational Papua New Guinean leaders as part of its employee development program.

“Our goal is to recruit high performing and high potential individuals as senior managers and leaders and then provide them structured professional development opportunities,” Ms Copus-Campbell said.

“This is an important part of our Workforce

Development Strategy which has a strong focus on leadership,” she said.

Charles Kaprangi is a health management professional with over seven years of experience providing governance, public policy, high level executive and corporate communications support to senior government and Ministerial leaders in the PNG health sector.

He recently achieved a Graduate Certificate in Governance and Public Policy from the University of Queensland as a participant and scholarship recipient of the Pacific Leadership and Governance Precinct – a public sector leadership development initiative of the Governments of Australia and PNG.

Mr Kaprangi comes to the Foundation from the Department of Health where he served as the Technical Advisor for Governance. He will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of OSF Public Relations and Communication strategies.

Serena Sasingian, a lawyer by profession, holds a Masters of Business from the Queensland University of Technology.

Apart from being a practicing Lawyer, she has an outstanding professional profile in the non-profit sector.

She was the pioneer Executive Director for

the dynamic youth leadership organization she co-founded, The Voice, and is passionate about addressing social challenges like violence against women and girls.

Coming to the Foundation from the Department of Justice and Attorney General, Ms Sasingian will be responsible for managing OSF leadership and educational programs, women protection and empowerment and the Small Grants initiative.

Eileen Tugum is a dynamic and inspirational PNG development professional.

A journalist and thirty-year veteran in communications, advocacy, organizational and program development and management, she brings with her the passion to see change that is equitable and sustainable for all.

She has held various leadership roles in the PNG development sector including the Country Director for Oxfam PNG, Country Representative for Brian Holden Vision Institute and Consultant Project Manager for the United Nations Development Program.

She joins the Foundation from Water Aid in PNG as its current Country Director and will be responsible for managing the continuity and development of the OSF Signature Program that implements programs in the Gulf and Highlands of PNG.
